Boom Technology, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Technician to contribute across additive, casting, heat treatment, and lab workloads. You will partner with engineers to turn concepts into real parts, often inventing new processes and documenting outcomes as you go.

The role requires hands-on fabrication across multiple domains, CAD readability, and a proactive, safety-first mindset in a fast-moving R&D setting. This position is based in the United States on-site.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fabrication across multiple domains.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping.

• Comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, build, and finish real parts across multiple processes.
• Work directly with Advanced Process engineers to take rough concepts and get hardware in hand fast - then iterate.
• Set up and run development trials, capture what happened, and feed results back so the process gets better.
• Handle the materials safely and cleanly - powder, wax, ceramic, hot metal, chemicals - with a relentless focus on safety.
• Perform routine cleaning, first-line maintenance, and troubleshooting on the equipment you run.
• Help build out and organize the labs and shop areas: tooling, consumables, workflow, and the work instructions the team will run on.
