Job summary

Phoenix Stamping Group is seeking a Multi-Plant Operations Manager to own the day-to-day production, people, and processes across two facilities. You will drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery while building a culture of continuous improvement.

You will lead master production scheduling, own OEE and efficiency levers, and coordinate shipping, inventory control, and plant layout projects. Coach Supervisors, deploy 6S and QEK, partner with maintenance, and manage the plant P&L.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Background in metal stamping and metal fabrication preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• P&L experience with demonstrated financial impact.
• Quality systems experience (ISO 9001:2015 preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and computer skills; comfortable with Excel and ERP reporting.
• Proven ability to schedule in and through ERP systems.
• Outstanding communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, maintenance, tooling, and material handling across two plants.
• Master production scheduling aligned to demand and inventory objectives.
• Own OEE and efficiency levers that impact OTD, throughput, and labor on the P&L.
• Oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, and material handling equipment upkeep.
• Support new equipment installations and facility layout projects; coordinate internal and contractor resources.
• Audit standard work and process control plans to prevent defects and minimize COPQ.
• Regularly review quality metrics with plant leadership; drive CAPAs.
• Develop staffing plans and coach Supervisors, Leads, and direct/indirect labor.
