Job summary

Axle in Bethesda, MD seeks a Bioinformatics Fellow specializing in multi-omics analysis to advance organoid research. You will analyze single-cell RNA sequencing, proteomics, and metabolomics data, assess organoid fidelity, and identify biomarkers of differentiation.

Collaborating with experimental teams, you will develop scalable pipelines, apply machine learning to classify cellular states, and help prepare manuscripts for publication while preparing for an independent research career.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, or related quantitative field.
• Extensive single-cell data analysis experience using Seurat/Scanpy.

Responsibilities

• Multi-omics analysis of organoid data and tissue counterparts.
• Develop pipelines for data processing, QC, and statistics.
• Benchmark organoid characteristics against normal tissue profiles.
• Develop analytical methods including machine learning for cellular state classification.
• Collaborate with experimental teams and contribute to manuscript preparation.
• Present findings at scientific conferences.
