Job summary

Capital Health in the region seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a multi-office position in PA and/or NJ. The NP assists with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This full-time role requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s in advanced clinical practice, or a graduate of a post-master’s NP certificate program, with at least three years of nursing experience; NJ license and BLS required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing and Master's degree in advanced clinical practice or graduate of post Master's certificate program for nurse practitioner.
Three years clinical nursing experience. Two years experience as Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Advanced Practice Nurse – NJ License, AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

Assists with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations.
Works in medical office and practice-type settings with occasional inpatient/outpatient float.
Educates patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments.
Prescribes medications as required.
Documents all patient care activities and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
