Medical City Las Colinas, part of the HCA Healthcare network, is hiring a Multi Modality US Tech PRN. The role performs MRI, mammography, CT, ultrasound, X-ray examinations in a fast-paced radiology setting and supports patient care with a team-focused approach.

The position requires RDMS and RVT credentials, BLS within 30 days, and a high school diploma. It offers diverse benefits and opportunities within a leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• RDMS certification is required.
• RVT credential is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and adjust settings as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and safety information.
• Prepare rooms and sterilize equipment between patients.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Multi-Modality Technician performs MRI procedures, mammographic procedures, CT examinations, Ultrasound examinations, X-ray examinations, according to protocol, used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release the patient with proper post-procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Required
• (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician
• High School Graduate / GED
