MUSC Health Emergency – Kiawah Partners Pavilion. As part of the Medical University of South Carolina, MUSC Health is dedicated to delivering the highest-quality and safest patient care. Our Emergency Room at the Kiawah Partners Pavilion located at 1857 Seabrook Island Road offers a seamless, patient-centered approach to care, handling everything from illnesses and injuries to more serious or life‑threatening conditions with a world‑class care team.

We are expanding imaging services at the brand‑new Kiawah Pavilion ER and are seeking a skilled and adaptable Multi‑Modality Technologist to join our growing imaging team. In this role you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple modalities, focusing on delivering safe, high‑quality exams and compassionate patient care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

About the Role

Multi‑modality technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X‑ray and CT. The technologist must effectively explain procedures to patients, ensure competence in each procedure, and produce images for interpretation or for a licensed practitioner’s request.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures across X‑ray and CT modalities, deliver safe, high‑quality exams, and maintain patient communication and comfort while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Minimum two years of experience in diagnostic imaging and computed tomography.
• Preferred experience with emergency, pediatric, and orthopedic examinations in both modalities.
• Ability to produce high‑quality special imaging with little supervision.
• Function effectively in a team‑oriented environment and be familiar with age‑specific criteria.

Required Registration / Certification

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C) and registered with the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or an equivalent certification from the American Red Cross.
