Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is a 495-bed facility serving Amarillo and surrounding regions, seeking a Tech - Multi Modality. The role requires proficiency in two imaging areas, including Radiography, with a focus on MRI, CT, and angiography procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient safety standards, supervising students, and training colleagues while providing high-quality care in a patient-centered environment. This position is based at our Amarillo campus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• ARRT certification maintained.
• Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control.
• Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors.
• Utilize leadership skills in supervising students and giving feedback on performance.
• Train fellow technologists in their modality and communicate effectively to resolve issues.

Position: Tech - Multi Modality

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Tech - Multi Modality will comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection,
infection control and environment control. Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors. Utilizes the appropriate leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback concerning their performance. Has the ability to train fellow technologists in their particular modality. Has communication and problem resolution skills and is a professional role model.
