Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo seeks a Tech - Multi Modality to perform MRI, CT, routine radiography and angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.

The role emphasizes patient safety, environmental controls, and professional leadership, including supervising students and training peers. Texas licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• Maintains Current: American Registry of Radiology Technologist.
• State of Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board).
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control.
• Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors.
• Utilize leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback on their performance.
• Train fellow technologists in their modality.
• Demonstrate communication and problem resolution skills as a professional role model.

JOB TITLE: Tech - Multi Modality

Position Summary: Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography.
