Patients Emergency Room and Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform X-Ray and CT imaging in the ER. You will educate patients, obtain histories, and ensure high-quality studies while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT and TMB licensure, with 1–3 years of experience and a commitment to infection control and team collaboration in a fast-paced ED setting. This is a full-time, on-site role in Baytown, TX.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current ARRT licensure.
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure.
• Minimum 1–3 years of related experience.

Mansioni

• Operate X-Ray and CT equipment to produce diagnostic images as directed.
• Educate and prep patients for examinations.
• Provide patient care essential to imaging procedures in the ED.
• Take complete patient history before exams.
• Perform imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes in the emergency department.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal views.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Maintain radiologic supplies and equipment.
• Back up clinical team members and manage patient flow, EKGs, vitals, and injections as needed.
• Apply infection control principles during exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to provide data and communicate effectively.
• Enter all required data into PACS/EMR systems.
• Demonstrate professional knowledge and communicate with patients and staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies and daily operating procedures.
• Complete all technical skills checkoffs for daily operations.
