Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate radiology equipment and perform standard diagnostic procedures in CT and X-Ray. The role supports patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment and requires adherence to established standards.

Completion of an ARRT-accredited radiography program and BLS within 14 days of hire are expected. The technician will collaborate with physicians, RN staff and the care team to ensure high-quality patient imaging services.

Qualifications

• Experience gained through completing a Radiology Technology Program.
• Accredited radiography education per ARRT standards.
• Knowledge of radiologic theory and appropriate technique/positioning.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as requested by a licensed physician.
• Exercise judgement in selecting and computing settings for each patient.
• Develop and implement a procedure/treatment plan.
• Follow hospital protocols/guidelines in procedures.
• Complete documentation to comply with policies and procedures.
• Maintain equipment, rooms and work areas in a safe condition.
