Job summary

Health First is seeking a Multi-Modality MRI Technologist to operate MRI systems and a secondary modality within a Florida facility. The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT/ARDMS/NMTCB credentials and a valid Florida radiography license, with on-call readiness and strong safety discipline.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, monitoring, and collaboration with Radiologists to refine imaging protocols, while maintaining high image quality and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) Radiography or ARMRIT/NMTCB/ARDMS pathways accepted for Florida licensure.
• MRI certification (MR) required or soon-to-be eligible per ARRT guidelines.
• Florida General Radiographer licensure is mandatory for this role.
• Multiple modality experience is highly desirable and preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and at least one additional modality with accuracy.
• Ensure patient safety by screening and communicating pre/post-procedure details.
• Position patients, monitor during exams, and document adverse reactions.
• Maintain image quality by following protocols and QC standards.
• Assist Radiologists in developing imaging protocols and teaching staff.
