Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist for the Imaging Department to perform diagnostic imaging across more than one modality with minimal supervision.

The role requires independent judgment, service excellence, and the ability to adapt to multiple modalities. ARRT registration, BLS certification, and state licensing requirements apply, with opportunities for professional growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certified, required.
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist license, if required by state.
• 1 year clinical experience in x-ray, preferred.
• Registered by and in good standing with the ARRT in specialized modality.
• 6 months clinical experience for additional modality, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures with skill and without constant supervision in more than one modality.
• Demonstrates independent judgement and initiative at a technical level.
• Provides Service Excellence at all times and supports colleagues as assigned.

Education

AMA approved radiological training

Florida Radiology Technologist license

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

1 year clinical experience in x-ray

Registered by and in good standing with the ARRT

6 months clinical experience for additional modality
