Universal Health Services' Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL, seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across more than one modality with minimal supervision. The role requires independent judgment and a commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has AMA-approved radiological training, Florida radiology license where required, and ARRT registration in the relevant modality, with BLS certification and preferred 1

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certified, required.
• Current Florida Radiology Technologist license, if required by state.
• 1 year clinical experience in x-ray, preferred.
• Registered by and in good standing with the ARRT in specialized modality- dependent on position.
• 6 months clinical experience for additional modality, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures with skill and without constant supervision in more than one modality.
• Demonstrates independent judgment and initiative at a technical level.
• Demonstrates service excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certified

Current Florida Radiology Technologist license

1 year clinical experience in x-ray

Registered by and in good standing with the ARRT in specialized modality

6 months clinical experience for additional modality
