Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. The role supports departmental goals and requires proficiency in at least three modalities.

Minimum education is an Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology with BLS and ARRT certifications. Preference given to candidates with Bachelor's or Master’s degrees and state licensure in Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ARRT certification and current modality certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, mammographic, CT and/or ultrasound examinations.
• Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Test defibrillator and crash cart; ensure equipment readiness.
• Prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures.
• Perform mobile imaging examinations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
