Zusammenfassung

Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment in a high‑volume ED setting. You will follow departmental protocols, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

You will prepare patients, document histories, administer IV contrast per protocol, and maintain image quality for interpretation. Weekend shifts and on‑call coverage are required as part of the schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Graduate of an ARRT‑recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification / License: ARRT certification in Radiology, or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry in CT within one year of hire; CPR required.
• Work Experience: Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population.

Aufgaben

• Examines requests and verifies orders; refers discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identifies patients with two identifiers and explains procedures.
• Prepares patients and documents on worksheets; interviews for medical history.
• Reviews EMR for history and correlates results with exam.
• Records contrast administration and ensures radiation safety.
