Job summary

Lyte Fiber LLC in Houston, TX is seeking an accomplished Sr. Manager of Construction Projects to lead and scale Lyte's nationwide construction program for FTTH and fiber deployments.

You will manage Senior and Junior Project Managers, set goals, and drive performance in a fast-growth environment. You will own project schedules, budgets, permitting, and field coordination, while partnering with OSP Engineering, Operations, Community Development, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, telecommunications, or related field.
• 5+ years of telecommunications project management experience, preferably OSP fiber.
• Proven leadership in coaching and developing project managers.
• Strong scheduling and risk management capabilities.
• Knowledge of telecom construction, budgeting, and ERP tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Construction Project Management team across markets.
• Set goals, monitor performance, and conduct reviews.
• Assign projects, balance workloads, and ensure staffing aligns with growth.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, change control, and close-out.
• Ensure on-time delivery across design, permitting, construction, and handover.
• Collaborate with OSP Engineering, Operations, Community Development, Sales and Marketing.
• Approve invoices and coordinate with Accounting on payments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implement process improvements.
