Job summary

TEGNA's WXIA/WATL-TV is seeking a Creative Multi-Market Digital Sales Manager to drive digital revenue across markets. You will lead a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, develop strategies, coach staff, and win new business across multiple markets.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, proficiency with analytics and ad tech, and building strong client relationships; reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee performance and align with market objectives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years digital sales and account engagement experience with 2 years of team management.
• Track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in digital media/advertising, including OTT.
• Proven leadership to develop teams with elite sales and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and own strategies for generating and achieving digital revenue goals for the market.
• Recruit, retain, and train top-performing sales and support talent on selling TEGNA’s digital products.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports including an Account Executive and an Account Manager, with dotted line reports.
• Support staff with ride-along coaching, client meetings, proposals, and acting as SME on digital solutions.
• Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification.
• Analyze each account to create and maximize ideal marketing executions and complete business activity reports and forecasts.
• Develop strong relationships with local clients and manage key accounts with the team, ensuring top-shelf service.
