Job summary

The role involves overseeing day-to-day payroll for multiple locations and processing hourly payroll for approximately 250 employees, with support for all payroll processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of payroll experience, strong knowledge of federal/state employment taxation, and familiarity with Viewpoint Vista and ADP.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Admin or Accounting with 5+ years of payroll experience preferred.
• Viewpoint Vista and ADP experience a plus.
• Experience in construction or manufacturing industry background.
• Comprehensive operational and technical expertise in federal and state employment taxation.
• Experience handling multi-state payroll and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly hourly payroll, union and non-union.
• Assist payroll field focused employees.
• Back up processing exempt employee payroll.
• Generate W-2 and other documents per regulations.
• Monitor and improve internal payroll controls.
• Oversee onboarding and E-Verify for payroll employees.
• Work with HR on new hires and open enrollment.
• Perform ad hoc reporting for internal clients.
• Process Certified Payroll reports.
• Develop training materials and provide team training.
