Job summary

Perlmutter Eye Center & Perlmutter Dermatology seeks a Front Desk Manager to lead front desk teams across Albany, Clifton Park and Troy, with primary focus on Albany. You will supervise the Albany staff, develop others, and ensure excellent patient service and smooth operations.

You will collaborate with Patient Access, Clinical, HR, Billing and Practice Administration to maintain efficient workflows, appropriate scheduling, and a welcoming patient experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and use ModMed EMR and other systems.
• Willingness to travel between Albany, Clifton Park, and Troy locations.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Albany front desk team and support Clifton Park and Troy leads.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop front desk staff with HR support.
• Maintain consistent front desk standards, staffing, and patient service.
• Monitor scheduling and patient flow across locations to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and professional front desk environment.
• Coordinate cross-location communications with Patient Access, Clinical, HR, Billing, and Administration.
