MyTown Health Partners is seeking a Float Medical Assistant to supportProviders across nine Cookeville-area locations. The role includes collecting vitals, phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, patient chart prep, and assisting with procedures.

You will coordinate referrals and maintain EMR accuracy, ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates should have a Medical Assistant Certification (or be pursuing) and 1–2 years of urgent/primary care experience, with a valid driver’s license to travel between

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• 1–2 years’ experience in urgent or primary care setting
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture
• Strong communication with providers and patients

Responsibilities

• Assist Providers in patient care across 9 practice locations
• Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, minor procedures
• Prepare patient charts and referrals
• Update EMR with patient information accurately
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling, and prior authorizations
• Manage medical supply inventory and patient rooms
