Job summary

Towne Nursing Staff is seeking a Floor & Cleaning Technician for our Environmental Services team. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, walls, and floors, operating scrubbers and buffers, and coordinating with the Food Service team for freezer cleaning. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, be able to work with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven experience cleaning surfaces and scrubbing floors.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer-oriented and positive attitude.
• Ability to operate floor scrubbing machines.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Power wash or scrub stainless-steel, metal, vinyl and other surfaces to remove liquids and stains.
• Scrub and clean walls to remove liquids, dust and stains.
• Power and/or hand scrub floors including tiles, grout, concrete, VCT, linoleum and hardwood.
• Clean under kitchen equipment and food prep surfaces.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers and mops.
• Coordinate with Food Service team to clean freezers.
• Transport equipment to worksites and discard waste.
• Adhere to health and safety rules and company practices.
