Job summary

Complete Care at Arbors is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain clean and safe hard-surface floors and carpeted areas across the facility.

You will operate floor care equipment, apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, shampooing, and spot cleaning, and follow safety precautions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be at work on time and at varying times of day/night.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing and burnishing.
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned.
• Carpet care including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Follows safety precautions when handling cleaning solutions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

• Utilizes equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Follows proper procedures on carpet including shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc
• Operates floor care equipment as assigned
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Disinfects floor care equipment after each use
• Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
