Job summary

NHC Place at the Trace is seeking a full-time Floor Technician to assist in maintaining floor finishes and overall facility cleanliness. The role supports a safe, efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff without providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities include routine housekeeping, moving furniture, buffing floors, carpet care, and light maintenance of walls and fixtures. Teamwork and reliability are highly valued, with opportunities for growth in a supportive senior care

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor finishes to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed around the facility.
• Buff floors, shampoo carpets, and periodically strip and refinished floors as required.
• Clean walls, windows, light fixtures, and dispose of trash and dirty linen as scheduled.
