Job summary

Propelled Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician for My Salon Suite locations in the Silver Spring, MD area. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, preventive tasks, and repairs, ensuring locations stay safe, clean, and lease-ready.

You will coordinate with District Managers, vendors, and property management, with after-hours calls possible. Strong emphasis on cost-conscious, proactive facilities support across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of general, commercial, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with salons, retail, commercial properties, or multi-tenant environments preferred.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, doors and locks.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage tickets from initial request through completion, troubleshoot and complete repairs.
• Coordinate with District Managers and field management on upkeep and priorities.
• Maintain maintenance schedule and complete work within deadlines and budgets.
• Identify recurring issues and communicate recommendations to the Facilities Project Manager.
• Travel between locations to perform maintenance and support projects.
