Greater Iowa Credit Union is seeking a Facilities Manager based in Ames with travel to branches in the South and North regions. Typical hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The role ensures all building systems operate properly and site look-and-feel is consistent across locations.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in facilities management, a two-year degree or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to multiple branches is required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of related facilities management experience.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent certification/licensing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary point of contact for all facilities issues.
• Responds to maintenance requests and coordinates with branches.
• Oversees vendor relationships and ensures safe, effective work.
• Plans and conducts building inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Manages purchasing, invoicing, and budget recommendations.
• Supports planning, construction, and remodel projects.
• Maintains records and work orders.
• Drives to branch locations as required.
