Job summary

Greater Iowa Credit Union seeks a Facilities Manager based in Ames, IA, to oversee all facilities-related issues across locations and ensure building systems are maintained in excellent condition.

You will manage vendor relationships, coordinate repairs and moves, supervise purchasing and accounts payable, and ensure OSHA/ADA compliance while traveling to branches in the South and North regions.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and vendor-management abilities required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Structured communication with branches and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for facilities issues and requests.
• Respond to maintenance calls and coordinate with branches.
• Oversee vendors and ensure safe, effective work across services.
• Inspect interior/exterior components and manage repairs/preventive maintenance.
• Manage facilities purchasing, AP coding, and budget recommendations.
• Support planning, construction, and remodel projects; assist mail services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
