Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Payee to support the Young Adult Services money management and Adult Client Funds Management teams across multiple LMHA locations in New York. This role requires significant travel and reliable transportation.

The position covers up to 12 statewide locations, handling benefit payment management, client services, and record-keeping in a HIPAA-compliant environment. Strong accounting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Specialized training in Human Services and basic accounting skills.
• Associate's or equivalent education with related experience is acceptable.
• Experience in mental health/substance abuse and public sector work is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide back-up support to Client Funds Management at multiple locations, preparing clients' monthly expenses and assisting with basic needs budgeting.
• Disbursements of cash and checks to clients as budgeted and manage records.
• Offer direct services to clients and demonstrate therapeutic communication with clients.
• Assist with preparing reports for Social Security Administration and other authorities.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all client interactions and records.
• Perform other financial and administrative duties to support operations.
