CLUB4 Fitness in Madison, MS is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper to oversee all accounting operations for CLUB4 Fitness and The Club at Township. You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting in collaboration with external CPAs.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in accounting or business administration required; four-year degree preferred.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division.
• Experience supporting a growth-oriented organization preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with outsourced accounting functions and internal accounting liaison.
• Oversee accounting department operations and organizational structure to meet goals.
• Ensure timely payments of accounts payable and proper discounts.
• Process payroll timely and accurately; maintain bank reconciliations.
• Maintain chart of accounts and orderly filing system.
• Coordinate information for external auditors and annual audits.
• Assist with compliance on local, state, and federal reporting and tax filings.
