Adam Holtquist State Farm Agency in Brookings, SD is hiring an Insurance Sales Representative who will focus on prospecting, building relationships, and closing new business in an in-office setting. You will engage with potential clients to understand needs and recommend appropriate coverage across auto, home, renters, life and more.

In this role you’ll generate leads, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and pursue a rewarding long-term career with performance-based earnings.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, business development, retail sales, hospitality sales, or insurance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for needs-based conversations.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
• Conduct needs-based sales conversations and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products.
• Follow up consistently to convert opportunities into written business.

Licensing Requirement (Job Contingent)

• Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date
• Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of your start date
• Full licensing support, study resources, and onboarding assistance are provided
