Job summary

Overhead Door/Wayne Dalton in Pensacola, FL seeks a full-time Production Manufacturing Operator to run multiple lines and operate equipment including presses, straighteners, mills, and conveyors. Responsibilities include loading/unloading coils, setting up lines, QC checks, and logging scrap.

Requirements include industrial manufacturing experience, ability to read English instructions, lift up to 75 lbs, stand up to 90% of shift, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing experience desired.
• Able to read, speak, and understand work instructions in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand on feet for up to 90% of shift.
• Must wear the required PPE for each assigned area.
• Must follow proper safety techniques for the job assigned, keeping safety at the forefront.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate APBR Line: loading/unloading coils, uncoil.
• Operate, adjust and operate steel straightener, feeder, press, conveyors; log scrap.
• Operate Retainer Line: loading/unloading coils, uncoil operation and QC checks.
• Changeovers, labeling, and product handling to ensure quality.
• Operate other lines: U Bar/Track Lines with setup and QC checks.
