Job summary

Magnera Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Line Operator to maintain safety, quality and productivity on the assigned production line, including prep, doffing, packaging, start-ups and routine maintenance. You will support the Line Leader and work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least two years of manufacturing experience, forklift experience, and proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Windows and Word.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lift truck experience strongly preferred.
• Experience using MS Office and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
• Actively participate in risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility.
• Actively participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis and support implemented corrective actions.
• Participate in safety observation programs as required.
• Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach within the department and plant.
• Operate and Maintain Line to established standards. Meet productivity standards
• Understand and fully utilize all ISO procedures, control charts, histograms, CpK, and other SPC tools and measurements; recommend improvements based on statistical data and observation.
• Complete required documentation such as: patrols, housekeeping sheets, doff quality coding, etc.
