Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC in Selma, Alabama is seeking an Assembler II to assemble Bush Hog products across several lines. You will learn multiple line setups, ensure correct parts, and contribute to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating hoists and tools, and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance. Work is in a non-climate-controlled plant with opportunities for growth and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years' experience as an Assembler I.
• Must be able to read assembly orders and blueprints.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds alone and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Focus, communicate, and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job and all company meetings.
• Communicate with other departments as needed to guarantee availability of required parts.
• Operate essential tools and equipment for the assembly of products.
• Ensure correct parts are used in each assembly line.
• Inspect products to guarantee safety and quality control.
• Examine work orders to identify special requests or changes in assembly.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace before, during and after assembly.
• Identify problems with manufacturing or locate assembly defects when needed.
• Ensure quality control in all built subassembly parts.
• Interpret a variety of blueprints for each product.
• All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
