Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC in Selma, Alabama is seeking an experienced Assembler II to join our Bush Hog production lines. You will read blueprints and sales orders, measure parts with basic tools, and operate a forklift to assemble multiple Bush Hog products across lines.

The role requires strict safety practices, ability to work on several lines, and cooperation with other departments to ensure the right parts are available and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret assembly orders and build to specification.
• Capable of performing standard measurements using geometric tools (Tape Measure).
• Must be certified and able to operate a forklift.
• Skilled to assemble on three or more lines at any given time.
• Able to stand/walk for full shift; lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety and participate in Safety meetings and communications.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee availability of required parts.
• Operate essential tools and equipment needed for the assembly of products.
• Ensure correct parts are used in each assembly line.
• Inspect products to guarantee safety and quality control.
