Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC is actively seeking an experienced Assembler II to join the Selma, Alabama team. This role involves assembling Bush Hog products across multiple lines and requires interpreting blueprints and ensuring quality and safety in every step.

You will operate essential tools, coordinate with other departments for parts availability, and work in a fast-paced environment to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Core competencies include learning, teamwork, communication and results orientation.
• Must read and interpret assembly orders and operate geometric measurement tools.
• Forklift operation certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety and communicate for all safety-related matters.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure required parts are available.
• Operate tools and equipment for assembly of products.
• Ensure correct parts are used and inspect for quality and safety.
• Review work orders for special requests or changes in assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace throughout the shift.
• Identify manufacturing issues and locate defects in assemblies.
• Ensure quality of all subassemblies and interpret blueprints.
• Perform duties on three or more assembly lines as needed.
