Job summary

Perma-Pipe in Hebron, OH is hiring Multi-Level Pipefitters to support our fabrication shop. You will assist in layout, fit-up, and welding of pipe assemblies in line with production schedules, reading blueprints and job specs, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

This on-site role offers a three-tier career path (Technician I–III), with advancement based on skill and productivity. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA and be prepared for shift flexibility and exposure to heat,

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Stick Welding (SMAW) required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skill.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a tiered skill development system.
• Flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, or on-call.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laying out, assembling, and tack welding pipe components per blueprints and job specifications.
• Perform basic Stick Welding (SMAW) tasks under supervision.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders.
• Support production demands by preparing materials and maintaining workflow.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and organization in compliance with safety standards.
• Work in shop environments with exposure to high temperatures in summer and cold conditions in winter.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and follow all shop safety rules and procedures.
• Communicates with supervisors and team leads to ensure proper task execution and timeline adherence.
