Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, layout, fit up, install, assemble, and/or repair commercial piping systems including fixtures and equipment.
• Perform field fabrication of piping systems and set up the specific task or project schedule.
• Sweat, braze, and weld copper systems.
• Install hangars or supports for piping systems.
• Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Manage materials to ensure timely completion of the work scheduled.
• Plan work to maximize use of manpower and resources.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance to contract and spec.
