Job summary

Perma-Pipe Inc. in Hebron, OH is hiring Multi-Level Pipefitters to assist in layout, fit-up, and welding of pipe assemblies in our fabrication shop.

You will work in a temperature-variable environment, reading blueprints and following job specifications while contributing to production schedules. The role covers three tiers (Technician I–III) with advancement based on skill, productivity, and knowledge; basic SMAW welding and blueprint interpretation are required, along with a strong safety

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Stick Welding (SMAW) required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skill.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a tiered skill development system.

Responsibilities

• Assist in laying out, assembling, and tack welding pipe components per blueprints and job specs.
• Perform basic Stick Welding (SMAW) tasks under supervision.
• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders.
• Support production by preparing materials and maintaining workflow.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
