Job summary

United Care LLC is seeking an experienced Adult Family Home Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple Wisconsin Adult Family Homes. You will lead staff, ensure compliant care, and coordinate with families and case managers to uphold high-quality, person-centered living environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential care, group home management, or related field.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin DHS 88 licensing requirements strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
• Must pass background checks and meet caregiver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple Adult Family Homes in compliance with Wisconsin DHS regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and upper management to hire, train, supervise, and support direct care staff.
• Ensure residents’ care plans are developed, implemented, and updated as needed.
• Provide leadership in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment.
• Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Monitor medication administration and health care needs of residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including incident reports, resident files, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a liaison with families, guardians, case managers, and external service providers.
• Conduct regular home visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and maintaining household supplies.
• Be on-call every other weekend and respond to after-hours incidents as needed.
