Job summary

Lockheed Martin AFS is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the JSF Mission Planning Environment (MPE) and ALIS for a F35 squadron at NAS JRB Fort Worth. You will deploy with the squadron and cross-train across systems, network, security, and databases in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires maintaining MPE/ALIS, training customers, enforcing COMSEC, and supporting mission planning with potential CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

Qualifications

• Must have a Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years.
• Completed DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
• IT experience in system/database/network/mission planning administration.
• Operational support role to an active fighter unit with potential deployment.
• Adherence to REAL ID Act security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with end-users, ALIS/MPE/LM leadership, and stakeholders.
• Maintain systems, databases, software, and firewalls; monitor health and security.
• Image laptops; troubleshoot hardware/software; manage user provisioning.
• Monitor availability/performance of applications and infrastructure.
• Maintain MPE for end-users and administrators; train and advise customer.
• Assist ALIS admins with database upkeep, network configuration, and security hardening.
• Fulfill COMSEC CRO and user duties; enforce COMSEC policies.
• Support pilots during mission planning and debriefing by identifying system shortfalls.

Role

This role is in support of a F35 Fighter Squadron at NAS JRB Fort Worth. The selected candidate will deploy with the squadron. Deployments typically range from 2weeks to 6months. We are seeking an experienced administrator to support the JSF Mission Planning Environment (MPE) and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). In this role you will cross‑train and operate across multiple information‑system disciplines—including Systems, Network, Security, and Database—in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Could Include, But Are Not Limited To

Interacting daily with end‑users, ALIS/MPE/LM leadership, and other stakeholders. Maintain systems, databases, software, and firewalls while monitoring health and security. Image laptops, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and manage user account provisioning/de‑provisioning. Conduct availability/performance monitoring of applications and infrastructure. You will maintain MPE for both end‑users and administrators, training and advising the customer as needed. Assist ALIS administrators with multi‑functional requirements such as database upkeep, network configuration, and security hardening. Additionally, you will fulfill COMSEC CRO and user duties. Enforce COMSEC policies and train team members on COMSEC procedures. Support pilots during mission planning and debriefing by identifying and resolving system shortfalls.

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
