Job summary

TAM Residential seeks an Accountant to manage financial reporting for a portfolio of multifamily properties in Plano, TX. You will prepare monthly client reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and support accounting functions across operations and corporate teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 1 year of full-cycle accounting experience, and familiarity with Entrata or Yardi. Confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of full cycle accounting.
• Property management experience preferred.
• Experience with Entrata, Yardi, or similar property management software preferred.
• Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and analyze financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and document reconciliations.
• Perform trend analysis on income and expenses.
• Maintain depreciation schedules and amortization entries.
• Respond to audit requests and record accruals/adjusting entries as needed.
• Assist with AP tasks and vendor inquiries.
• Support AR functions and cash handling processes.
• Ensure timely monthly financial reporting to clients.
• Communicate with operations and corporate teams to provide excellent service.
