Job Description
Position Overview:
Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations and project administration activities for all assigned construction projects. Manage a staff of Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Support staff. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to achieve established corporate goals and support the corporate mission statement.
Essential Functions:
- Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for project completion, utilizing resources efficiently.
- Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing quality assurance controls and standards.
- Coordinates work of subcontractors across various project phases.
- Oversees performance of trade contractors and reviews architectural and engineering drawings for compliance.
- Manages construction contracts, permits, licenses, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Supervises Project Engineers and Superintendents, reviewing reports and addressing safety violations or deficiencies.
- Tracks and controls project schedule and costs to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Reports progress and modifications to Owners, Architects, and Directors.
- Conducts project meetings and manages operational aspects of multiple projects.
- Handles client interactions and manages expectations.
- Forecasts project revenue, profitability, and costs accurately.
- Identifies scope changes and implements appropriate measures.
- Administers submittal reviews and finalizes shop drawings.
- Supports QA/QC efforts and coordinates subcontractors and workforce.
- Manages subcontractor and supplier relationships and solicitations.
- Utilizes project management software extensively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management/technology, engineering, architecture, or business.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in multifamily development.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- Walking, standing, sitting, and driving as required.
- Routine travel, including air travel and overnight stays.
- Observation and documentation at job sites.
