Job summary

Advant Solutions in Houston seeks a Multi-Family Project Manager to assist with project management duties, oversee administrative tasks, and coordinate contractors. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects up to $2.5M.

You will gather hardware and software requirements, order materials from multiple manufacturers, track delivery timelines, and report status to customers and onsite management. Epicor Prophet 21 ERP experience is preferred.

Title: Multi-Family Project Manager

Reports To: Multi-Family Director
Job Summary
Primary focus will be to assist with project management duties. They will oversee and perform administrative functions. This may include calling contractors, making appointments, ordering supplies and preparing reports.
Essential Functions

• Frequently required to sit, bend, reach, grab and twist
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
• Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

Job Functions

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously ranging in scale up to $2.5M
• Gather hardware/software requirements
• Order all necessary hardware from multiple manufacturers
• Verify material delivery will meet timeline
• Communicate with customer on status
• Coordinate installation crew and schedule
• Coordinate hardware installation and project implementation with onsite management (GCs, property managers)
• Coordinate training
• Prepare and process purchase and sales orders within ERP
• Provide project documentation
• Manage relationship with customers and general contractors
• Ability to review architectural drawings and specifications for new construction
• Maintain detailed and organized records and documentation of project until completion
• Manage return and replacement of defective material
• Manage the database and key creation process with contractors
• Provide assistance to sales team in pre-contract pricing
• Provide assistance to accounting for customer billing
• Ability to understand multiple software platforms used to operate hardware
