Job summary

Garden View Realty, Inc. seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across its managed properties in a multi-family community. The role includes plumbing, appliance and electrical work, HVAC basics, grounds maintenance, and small equipment repairs.

A proactive, reliable team member is essential for rotating after-hours coverage. Qualified candidates will have at least two years of maintenance experience, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as maintenance technician (2 year minimum).
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used by maintenance technicians.
• Ability to handle physical workload in a team environment.
• Must be able to provide on-call, after-hours response to maintenance calls on a rotating schedule.
• Background check and drug screening required; valid DL required.

Responsibilities

• Repair/replace plumbing fixtures (faucets, disposals, toilets, water heaters).
• Repair/installation of appliances (microwaves, washers/dryers, ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers).
• Repair/installation of electrical components (switches, outlets, lighting, detectors).
• Minor HVAC repair (checking leaks, thermostat, filters).
• Perform grounds work and waste removal at properties.
• Maintain and repair small equipment (mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, blowers).
