Carter Lumber seeks a Construction Project Manager for installed Multi-Family work in NE Ohio. You will coordinate between the office and field, review plans, and manage schedules and take-offs to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include submittals, labor sourcing, material procurement, and change orders while maintaining project budgets and safety compliance. This full-time role offers growth within the company.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Commercial Multi-Family construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of job site management processes and construction assembly.
• Follows safety procedures and practices.
• Understanding of contract changes and build-out schedules.
• Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Reads and comprehends blueprints.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• PlanSwift software knowledge is a plus.
• This role serves NE Ohio areas.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and project schedule thoroughly.
• Create an agreed schedule of values with customer.
• Verify take-offs for correct quantities and timely orders.
• Manage submittals through approval for ordering.
• Arrange labor via Carter Lumber-approved subcontractors.
• Procure materials and notify Field Superintendent of arrivals.
• Provide customer change orders as needed.
• Review daily field reports and weekly safety meetings.
• Track progression and monitor project budgets.
• Submit pay applications per contract documents.
