Airtron Heating & Cooling HVAC seeks a Project Manager to oversee HVAC subcontractors on multi-family construction projects. You will manage construction activities, coordinate schedules, ensure quality, and maintain builder relationships while upholding safety and company standards.

Responsibilities include guiding HVAC rough-ins and trims, aligning dates with the scheduling team, and handling change orders and inspections as needed.

Formación

• Prior HVAC, construction management, multi-family construction, commercial construction, or field supervision experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Job Description:Construction Management / Field Operations Opportunity – The Project Manager oversees subcontractors installing HVAC systems on multi-family construction projects. This role is responsible for construction management, subcontractor coordination, quality control, scheduling, builder and general contractor relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards.Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:· Assists in all phases of HVAC Multi-Family construction projects.Provides construction management oversight by leading HVAC subcontractors, coordinating project schedules, monitoring installation quality, and ensuring work is completed according to project timelines and specifications.· Walk jobs regularly and verify readiness for both HVAC rough-in and HVAC trim installations.· Coordinates installation dates with scheduling team and ensures job is ready for installation· Check the jobs by phase to assure work is completed.· Ensure schedule compliance completion of assigned work by Subcontractor installation crews.· Coordinates with sub-contractors and office regarding punch lists or repairs as needed.· Review sub-contractor invoices and approves after work is complete per phase. (check with prod mgr)· May schedule inspections with local jurisdictions.· Coordinates and completes paperwork for billable change orders found in the field.· Meets Builder supervisors on job sites to work through any issues with installations or design.· Manages all pertinent production related issues with homebuilders in the assigned area of responsibility.· Builds rapport and fosters long-term relationships with builder superintendents.· Follows safety policies and procedures· Other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:· Prior HVAC, construction management, multi-family construction, commercial construction, or field supervision experience.· High school diploma or GED· Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously· Beg/Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)· Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Valid driver's license required· Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.Preferred Qualifications:• 3–5 years of experience in Construction Management, Multi-Family Construction, Commercial Construction, Field Supervision, or HVAC Production Management· HVAC trade school certification· Completed college courseworkAdditional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:· Must be organized and able to coordinate a large volume of requests· Proactive mindset· Must be able to work independently· Mechanical aptitude· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task· Willingness to learn and be a part of a team· Positive attitude and a team player· Ability to build positive relationships with customers, both internal and external· Willingness and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.· Safety mindset and acceptance of a safety culture· Related experience may be substituted for educationWorking Conditions:· Partial time spent in an office environment· Partial time spent in a field environment (hot attics, crawl spaces, uneven terrain, construction sites and finished homes).· Travel by vehicle to and from work locations· Regularly exposed to construction environments involving equipment, elevated work areas, confined spaces, noise, dust, hazardous materials and odors· Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPEPhysical Requirements:· Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift· Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently· Frequently performs tasks requiring climbing, bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching· Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)· Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots· Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting· Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.· With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception· Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others· Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad· Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools.Airtron is an equal opportunity employer.
