Job summary

Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a growing multi-entity organization to hire a detail-oriented Staff Accountant. The role supports day-to-day accounting, treasury, entity management, and financial reporting for a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has strong general-ledger experience, solid bank reconciliations, and comfort managing multiple entities and priorities. This position offers competitive pay in a growth-focused company with potential bonus and 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• At least three years of progressive accounting, bookkeeping, staff accounting, or related experience.
• Experience supporting a high-volume, multi-entity organization.
• Strong knowledge of general-ledger accounting, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, and month-end close.
• Experience with cash management, treasury functions, and banking relationships preferred.
• Experience with acquisitions, entity integrations, or process improvements is desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, sorting/filtering, lookups, pivot tables, and large data sets.
• Experience with payroll processing or payroll-related accounting is a plus.
• Experience with real estate, property-management, or multi-entity accounting (Yardi) is a plus.
• Professional communication and collaboration skills.
• Confidentiality and discretion in handling financial information.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for multiple entities in a high-volume environment.
• Prepare, enter, review, and post journal entries; maintain general ledger activity and documentation.
• Complete detailed reconciliations of bank, credit-card, intercompany, and balance-sheet accounts.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with analysis and schedules.
• Assist with internal financial reports, management packs, and supporting schedules.
• Manage accounts payable activities, including coding, processing, vendor maintenance, payments, and resolving discrepancies.
• Support accounts receivable processes: invoicing, payments, collections, and reconciliation of balances.
• Assist with cash-management and treasury responsibilities, including bank activity monitoring and transfers.
• Develop relationships with banking partners and manage banking documentation.
