Job summary

turn is hiring an experienced accounting manager to lead a small team and own the month-end close across multiple entities at the Santa Ana border, CA. The role requires hands-on cost accounting, COGS analysis, and inventory valuation within a manufacturing/CPG context.

You will drive budgeting and FP&A, consolidate books, and manage intercompany eliminations while building a scalable finance system. This onsite role reports to the founder until a CFO joins.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cost accounting experience in manufacturing or CPG environments.
• Experience closing books across multiple entities and consolidations.
• Budgets, forecasting and FP&A ownership beyond past periods.
• Proficiency with cost accounting, COGS variance analysis, and inventory valuation.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close end-to-end with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage cost accounting, landed costs, and BOMs across warehouses.
• Oversee multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, with variance analysis for leadership.
• Supervise AP/AR staff and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Ensure sales tax compliance and GAAP revenue recognition.
