Job summary

Dexian is seeking a skilled Accountant to support financial reporting, cash flow management, and accounting operations across a portfolio of privately owned businesses. The role offers exposure to multiple entities and industries, reporting directly to the CFO.

You will prepare and analyze financial statements, assist with close processes, monitor cash activity, and provide insights through ad hoc analysis to guide business decisions while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules for multiple entities.
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor cash activity, maintain cash flow forecasts, and support treasury-related reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Coordinate the collection, organization, and secure transmission of financial information and documentation.
• Support accounting operations across a diversified portfolio of privately held entities.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, reporting, and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
• Handle sensitive financial and personal information with the highest degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on accounting, tax, and financial matters.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
