Job summary

INVISTA in Victoria, Texas is seeking Instrument & Electrical Technicians to expand instrumentation, electrical, and analyzer expertise while joining an experienced team dedicated to safe, reliable operations.

You will inspect, test, repair, and calibrate equipment, work with transmitters, control valves, RTDs, thermocouples and low‑voltage systems, and support condition‑based monitoring and maintenance records.

Qualifications

4+ years of Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electrical, Electrical or Analyzer experience in an industrial setting.
Associate’s degree or higher in I&E with hands‑on experience.
Journeyman Electrician license or NCCER certification with field experience.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Work with field instrumentation and analyzer equipment including transmitters, control valves, RTDs, and thermocouples.
Support low‑voltage electrical equipment and 480‑V systems up to 4,160 V.
Perform preventive maintenance and use condition‑based monitoring practices.
Learn and use Honeywell FDM to assess device performance and needs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records of labor hours and findings.
Support Team‑Based Maintenance and understand impact on operational performance.
