Multi-craft Technician III (2nd shift- $32.95/hr.)

Responsibilities
  • Work in a safe and responsible manner using LOTO and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Understand and comply with OSHA, Safety, and PPE requirements of A.O. Smith.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a safe and timely manner.
  • Make proper adjustments to relevant equipment such as hydraulic presses, DOT testers, welders, and gas ovens.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure machine reliability.
  • Utilize technical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, and PLC for troubleshooting and repair.
  • Communicate clearly with team lead and production lead on equipment issues during production runs.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical prints, hydraulic prints, and pneumatic prints to perform required maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical & hydraulics with 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • High school diploma with 5 years of manufacturing experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and PLCs in lieu of an Associate's degree.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work occasional opposite shifts, call-ins, and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis.
We Offer

Regularly Scheduled Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:30pm - 12:00am

Pay: $32.20/hr. to start, depending on experience ($32.20/hr. plus a $.75/hr. shift differential)
